Since it's June and you're on vacation, go to www.askfred.net for meets. Remember, be sure that you fit the age criteria for the event.

You can check other Sections for meets as well such as Metropolitian (New York City, NY), North Atlantic (New England States), Great Lakes (Midwest States), Southeast (Southern States), if for some reason you want to fence away for practice. Some divisons will be hosting summer fencing meets to keep you in competiton form.

You must have 2 working weapons, 2 bodycords, and all of your competition equipment. Don't forget your USFA Card! Remember, SHMS will be inaccessible beginning June 18th, 2008. This includes the fencing room.

Speaking of USFA Cards, renew your card before 7/31/08 and pay this season's rates. Yes, the dues are going up on 8/1/08. Go to www.usfencing.org for more details.

Oh yeah, save your pennies since the NAC in October is in Columbus, OH., Columbus Day weekend. These are excused absences for fencers who participate! Yes, some of you will need my approval to go! So prove it!
